Drury Vinton-Owner
Drury started in the automotive business in 1963 with the purchase of a local Chevrolet/ Oldsmobile Dealership. He owned the dealership until 1986 when it was sold.
At the time of the sale, the body shop needed to be split off from the dealership and South Main Body Shop, Inc. was then established. At the dealership Dru instilled a high level of integrity and the ideal of “providing quality work at a fair price” and this was carried over to the operations at South Main.

Ray Roy-President and General Manager

Ray started his auto repair career as an auto technician in 1968 at a local Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership in St. Johnsbury.  Having advanced up through the repair shop ranks, he ultimately became Body Shop Manager at the dealership in 1974.
In 1986 the body shop was split off from the dealership; this is when South Main Body Shop, Inc. was established with Ray as the manager.  Ray is fully active in all aspects of the management, sales and operation of South Main…with him being primarily active in sales.

John Vinton-Assistant General Manager
John started his automotive career in a local Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership in 1978. Having started as a reconditioning technician and then moving through and learning all the other aspects of dealership management and operations.  John became General Manager of the dealership in 1983.
Having ventured away from the automobile business in 1986, when the dealership was sold, John came to South Main in 2004 with inventory management, financial management, customer relationship management skills as well as computer skills. John is active in all aspects of the management, sales and operation of South Main…with him being primarily active in parts.

Flora Roy-Office Manager/Service Writer
Flora started her automotive career in the office of a local Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealership in 1970. Having spent several years in the office at the dealership, she came to South Main Body Shop in 1988.
At South Main, she has been active as the Office Manager, repair estimator, and currently as Service Advisor/Writer Flora is responsible for the scheduling and work flow in the shop. She also is active in the management of South Main.

Randy Stewart-Service Supervisor
Started his automotive career as an auto technician at a local Chevrolet Oldsmobile dealership back in 1978. Over his 38-year automotive career, he has been exposed to servicing many different makes of automobiles. He has received a wide range of factory training in both domestic and foreign auto repair as well as becoming an ASE Master Technician.  He is a skilled electronic diagnostician and excellent technician.
Over his career, he has moved up from Technician to Shop Foreman to Service Manager in local dealerships, as well as owning and operating his own repair shop. Having joined the South Main Team in 2005, his knowledge and expertise are a welcome compliment to the South Main auto service team.

Chris Roy-Senior Plow Technician
Chris started working at South Main Body Shop in 1986 as a teenager and has become a key member of South Main’s auto service, snowplow/sander service and sales operations. As well is the primary truck body installation technician at South Main.
He is a skilled welder/fabricator and maintains a solid knowledge of plow and spreader operation, installation and troubleshooting.

Steve Bonett-Inventory/Warehouse Coordinator
Steve started his automotive career right here at South Main in 1990, first as a parts associate, then becoming parts manager. His talents expanded where he has become parts and inventory coordinator. To compliment his position, he also is a trained forklift operator.
Steve's warehousing skills make him a key part of the South Main team, with controlling and maintaining our inventory and warehousing activities.

Tom Bijolle-Auto Reconditioning Technician
Tom started his automotive career working at a small local repair shop in St Johnsbury Center in 1988. Tom was a skilled automobile rust proofing technician and has expanded to become a high quality auto recondition technician as well as a qualified snowplow assembler.
Tom came to South Main Body Shop in 1990. In addition to being the recondition technician, Tom provides assistance to the other technicians as well as supporting the plow installations.

John Montgomery-Sales
John started his automotive career in the parts department at a local Ford Dealership back in 1980. His career moved him up to become Parts Manager for the same dealership in 1984. It stayed at the dealership until 2001, when he came to South Main.
John is skilled with Fisher and Diamond plow parts, as well as automotive parts. He currently is our wholesale customer development liaison and is active in sales.
As a member of the National Guard, John served proudly in Iraq in 2005-2006.

Bonnie Lotspeich-Book Keeper
Bonnie started her bookkeeping career some 30 years ago. When her prior employer ceased operation n 2006, South Main was lucky enough to have Bonnie join our team.
Bonnie brings with her years of accounting and payroll processing experience as well as computer based accounting skills. She has become a key member of the administrative operations of South Main.

Charlie Pellitiere-Medium Duty Truck/Auto Technician
Charlie started his automotive career in Massachusetts.  Having moved to Vermont; Charlie continued his auto career at a local Ford/Jeep dealership for 20 years.  Charlie then opened his own shop for 7 years and then he came to South Main in 2005.

Charlie’s medium duty truck experience and his exceptional auto repair skills are a natural fit in the South Main team and has allowed South Main to expand its service offerings.

Alex Stebbins-Plow/Spreader Installation Technician
After “growing up” at a local foreign car dealership, Alex came to South Main in 2005 from Greensboro and moved into the local area in 2006.  Alex has grown to become a skilled plow installation and repair technician and well as being a qualified auto technician.

Alex keeps his skills honed with regular plow service seminars and the ASE certification tests and
Is a fine part of the South Main Service team.

Steve Dase-Diagnostic Technician
Steve mechanical experience began in 1975 on industrial and farm equipment in New Jersey.  In 1978 he began his auto career at a local Cadillac dealership. In 1979 automotive computers and electronic diagnostics became a major interest for Steve and have been his primary area of expertise ever since.  As well as being an ASE Certified Technician he is also AMP certified (to repair aircraft electronics).

After having several years of professional training earned at local dealerships, Steve then opened his own shop. Wanting to have a quieter life, Steve moved to Northern, VT in 2006 when he started at South Main in 2007. He brought with him great electronic diagnostic and repair skills as well as a high level of energy and has been a great addition to our service team.
